For the most part, your mobilized shares not only look like regular folders but also function like them. You can move, rename, and upload files to your mobilized shares.
However, some operations that are available for regular folders are not available for mobilized shares. You cannot delete mobilized shares, synchronize mobilized shares with the HCP Anywhere desktop application, or perform the following operations in mobilized shares:
- Share a link to a file or folder
- Share a folder
- Move files and folders in or out
- Restore deleted files or folders
- View old versions of a file
- View deleted files and folders
HCP Anywhere incorrectly reports a successful file upload to a mobilized share as having failed when:
You upload a large file into a folder in the share.
While the file is uploading, another user renames the folder.
