You can view and download backup files and folders in the User Portal and your HCP Anywhere mobile applications. Since backup folders are already on your computer, they do not appear in your desktop application folder. This prevents them from using any additional space on your computer.
If the desktop application has backup enabled, a folder appears in HCP Anywhere. The folder looks like this:
USWAL-JSMITH
This is the backup parent folder. The items you back up appear in this folder.
Procedure
- If the desktop application is not running, start the application.
- Click the application icon (
) in the menu bar.
- In the menu, click Dashboard.
- In the menu that appears, click Go to User Portal.
- Select the files and folders you want to download.
- Click Download.
- In the window that opens, select Open with or Save file.
- Click OK.
