HCP Anywhere User Help

Logging in

All you need to do to begin using HCP Anywhere is log in to the HCP Anywhere website. Once logged in, you can use all the HCP Anywhere tools designed to make your work life as easy as possible: storing and protecting files, accessing them from anywhere, and sharing them with your team.

Before you begin

See the Release Notes for the list of supported browsers.

Note

These considerations apply when you use Internet Explorer to view the User Portal:
  • The security level cannot be set to High.
  • The User Portal does not function correctly when displayed in Compatibility View.
  • In order to access to the User Portal, TLS 1.2 and JavaScript need to be enabled for your web browser while SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 need to be disabled.
  • For HCP Anywhere, your username and password are your corporate credentials. You probably use this same username and password every day to access your work computer, email, and other corporate devices and applications.
  • If you log in to your computer using your corporate username and password, you can log in to the HCP Anywhere website without entering your username and password using network login. For information, see Network login.
  • If your administrator has configured certificate-based authentication, your smart card is your corporate credential for HCP Anywhere.

Procedure

  1. In a web browser, enter the HCP Anywhere URL provided by your company.
The HCP Anywhere login screen appears.
  2. Depending on your organization’s authentication configuration, do one of these:
    • If your company is using username/password authentication:
      1. Type your username and password into the appropriate fields.
      2. Click Login.
    • If your company is using certificate-based authentication for HCP Anywhere:
      1. Insert your smart card into the reader.
      2. If your company is using multiple authentication configurations, select the appropriate display name from the Log in using dropdown. Then click Login.

The Select a certificate window appears.

      3. In the Select a certificate window, select your certificate. Then click Ok.
      4. If your certificate has a PIN code associated with it, type in your PIN code.
If it is your first time logging into the HCP Anywhere website, you are prompted to enter your email address.
  3. If an email prompt appears, do these:
    1. In the Email field, enter your email address.
    2. Click Register.
