Reauthenticating when prompted

Occasionally, the HCP Anywhere desktop application prompts you to log back into HCP Anywhere. The frequency of these prompts depends on your company's settings.

Depending on how your company has configured HCP Anywhere, you are prompted to log back into HCP Anywhere in one of the following ways:

  • With your certificate

Note

During the procedure below, a prompt may appear telling you that the certificate for the HCP Anywhere system is not trusted. To learn more about this prompt, see Accepting HCP Anywhere system certificates.

Procedure

  1. In the reauthentication prompt, type in your password or select your login certificate.
  2. Click OK.
  3. If you are using a certificate that has a PIN code associated with it, type in your PIN code.
