Stopping a backup

In the desktop application dashboard, you can stop folders from being backed up. You cannot stop back up for the folders your organization selected. If your organization is backing up a folder, the folder row in the dashboard has this icon ().

Note

You can also remove backup files and folders from HCP Anywhere in the User Portal. To do this, you must first deregister the desktop application.

Procedure

  1. If the desktop application is not running, start the application.
  2. Click the application icon () in the menu bar.
  3. In the menu, click Dashboard.
  4. Click Backup.
  5. From the list of backup folders, click the folder you want to delete.
    You can select only one folder at a time.
  6. Click Remove.
  7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each folder you want to delete.
  8. Click Save.
