HCP Anywhere User Help

Uploading files

You can upload new files to the HCP Anywhere shared or team folder directly from the Teams tab. When you click Upload, a file directory window opens on your desktop. You can select one or more files to upload to the folder. A progress bar appears at the bottom of the Teams window, and a success or error message appears briefly.

Procedure

  1. Click the tab for the shared folder you want to use.
  2. Click Upload.
  3. Choose one or more files from the file window.
  4. Click Open.

Result

A status message shows the progress of the upload, then disappears when the upload is complete.

File names that are not valid appear as <filename>.

The possible error messages are:

  • Filename failed the security scan.

It may contain a virus, or otherwise violated a security constraint.

  • Unable to upload file.

The file is locked by Microsoft Office for the web. (This applies only if Microsoft Office for the web is configured.)

  • File name is too long.
  • Cannot add file.

    Storage quota exceeded.

  • The upload failed.

The team folder is at capacity.
