Viewing upload status of backup files and folders

While the desktop application is running, changes you make to the backup files and folders on your computer are also uploaded to HCP Anywhere. The upload status of a backup folder tells you whether the files in that folder are being uploaded correctly. If any files are not being uploaded correctly, you can see which files are unable to upload and why.

Procedure

  1. If the desktop application is not running, start the application.
  2. Right-click the application icon () in the taskbar.
  3. In the menu, click Dashboard.
  4. Click Backup.
    The Backup section of the desktop application dashboard appears.

    The Details column shows the status of each folder:

    No Issues
    Your files are being uploaded successfully.
    Issues
    One or more files cannot be uploaded.
  5. (Optional) View a list of the files that have issues in a folder:
    1. Select the folder you want.
    2. Click Details.

    Note

    You cannot click the Details button if there are no issues in the folder you selected.
