Updating groups

By default, groups in shared and team folders are updated at the end of each day. If a person is added to the group during the day, for example, that person is invited to all the collaborative folders in which the group is a part of at the end of the day. This removes the hassle of managing groups yourself.

Instead of waiting until the end of the day for a group to update, you can also update groups on-demand.

Note

If there are no groups invited to the collaborative folder, the Sync membership button is not displayed in the Manage shared folder window. Groups have this icon () next to their name in the Manage shared folder window.

Procedure

  1. In the row of a collaborative folder, click the overflow icon ().
  2. In the menu, click Manage shared folder.
  3. Click Sync membership.
