Viewing your space usage

Your company allots you a certain amount of storage space in HCP Anywhere. In the desktop application dashboard, you can view information about the amount of space you've been assigned in HCP Anywhere and the amount of space the files in your HCP Anywhere folder are using on your computer.

Procedure

If the desktop application is not running, start the application.
Right-click the application icon () in the taskbar.
In the menu, click Dashboard.
Click Usage.
The Usage section of the desktop application dashboard appears. The Usage section contains four cards. Each card displays different information about your HCP Anywhere space usage:

Capacity

Displays the total space allotted to you in HCP Anywhere by your company and the amount of space you are currently using in HCP Anywhere.

Saved locally

Displays the number of files that you have saved locally and the amount of space these files are using on your computer.

File sync

Displays the number of files in your HCP Anywhere account.

Backup

Displays the number of files you are backing up on your computer and the amount of space those files are using in your HCP Anywhere account.
