The desktop application has a special dashboard which contains some of the most important desktop application management tools in one central location. In the desktop application dashboard, you can:
- View information about your storage
- Back up files and folders
- Configure the desktop application
- View the synchronization status of your files
- View a list of the files that are saved locally
- View important messages regarding the desktop application
Important
- If your organization has disabled one of the dashboard features (such as backup), that section of the dashboard is gray and inaccessible.
- In some cases, your organization may have disabled the desktop application dashboard. If the desktop application dashboard is disabled, the dashboard options that are enabled appear in the desktop application icon menu.
